¿Por qué el registro de actualizaciones de ubicación activa contactos para actualizarse?

Estoy teniendo un problema donde está me registro para actualizaciones de ubicación utilizando

mLocationManager.requestLocationUpdates(LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER, MIN_TIME_MS, 1, mSingleShotGpsListener); 

puedo ver que los contactos DB se actualiza, lo que en mi deseo Z parece tomar un tiempo y luego es seguido por una carga de Acción del GC (ver registro a continuación). Como estoy visualizando algunas animaciones poco después de que se active la verificación de ubicación, el resultado es un rendimiento subóptimo. ¿Alguna idea de por qué esto está sucediendo/qué puedo hacer para detenerlo?

he probado en un Nexus S y no ve este comportamiento/rendimiento cheques emisión/de contacto en el registro.

Al registrarse para la actualización, el GPS aparece e informa una ubicación. Lo más probable es que en ese dispositivo haya un receptor de ubicación pasiva registrado por alguna razón que al recibir la actualización debido a que hace que se busque la ubicación del GPS y se informe, está realizando alguna operación en la base de datos de contactos.

Teniendo en cuenta que usted no ve este comportamiento en el dispositivo Nexus, que no es parte del archivo de Android. Por lo tanto, es una personalización que el fabricante ha hecho al dispositivo o alguna otra aplicación instalada en ese dispositivo.

Se puede ver qué aplicaciones están registrados para actualizaciones de localización pasiva con "adb shell dumpsys ubicación".
