Question

me sale el siguiente error al intentar instalar MySQL-python-1.2.3 bajo Python 2.6 en Fedora 14.

Fedora 14 viene con Python 2.7 de manera predeterminada y estoy trabajando en un proyecto que se ejecuta en Python 2.6, por lo que no estoy en condiciones de actualizar Python de 2.6 a 2.7.

resuelto este problema de la siguiente manera

1. Copia MySQLdb carpeta de site-packages directorio de Python2.7 a Python2.6 .

2. Copie también los siguientes archivos del directorio site-packages de Python2.7 a Python2.6.

   _mysql.so

   _mysql_exceptions.py

   _mysql_exceptions.pyc

   _mysql_exceptions.pyo

Ahora intenta lo siguiente

>>> import MySQLdb 
>>> MySQLdb.__version__ 
'1.2.3'

es necesario instalar Paquete de desarrollo de MySQL

yum install mysql-devel
