Android C2DM Push Notification

Question

Estoy desarrollando una aplicación y en esa aplicación necesito implementar notificaciones push. ¿Alguien puede sugerirme cómo debo implementar las notificaciones push? ¡Si pudiera recibir un buen tutorial, sería genial!

C2DM es obsoleto y ha sido reemplazado por Google Cloud Messaging for Android (GCM). la declaración de Google:

Importante: C2DM ha quedado oficialmente obsoleta, de 26 de junio de 2012. Esto significa que C2DM ha dejado de aceptar nuevos usuarios y cuotas solicitudes. No se agregarán nuevas características a C2DM. Sin embargo, las aplicaciones que usan C2DM continuarán funcionando. Se recomienda a los desarrolladores existentes de C2DM migrar a la nueva versión de C2DM, llamada Google Cloud Messaging para Android (GCM).
